The role
As Content and Communications Specialist you will be responsible for planning and creating high-quality content that supports multiple divisions within the company, as well as the executive leadership team. This role will play a key part in communications both internally and externally. You will contribute to develop and align content strategies across different areas of the group to ensure a cohesive brand message.
A key focus will be managing the company’s LinkedIn presence, ensuring that posts complement each other and contribute to a unified brand narrative. You will collaborate closely with marketing teams, division heads, and senior leaders to craft content that aligns with business goals and enhances overall brand visibility.
Responsibilities
- Planning of the groups activity on social media and managing the content calender: Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure the timely production and distribution of content across multiple platforms and business units.
- Content Creation: Write and edit compelling, audience-specific copy text for a variety of channels including websites, social media, newsletters, internal communications, press releases, and blogs. For example, customer case stories.
- LinkedIn Content Management & Employer Branding: Create content, oversee the development and scheduling of the group LinkedIn account. Also ensure consistency or complementary information across the divisions or brands Linkedin pages. Collaborate with division heads, division marketing and Group Communication, Group P&C.
- Collaboration Across Divisions: Work with different divisional marketing teams, department heads and People & Culture representatives to understand their unique needs and create content.
- Proofreading & Editing: Ensure all written content is grammatically correct, on-brand, and error-free before publication, check in with stakeholders.
- Support internal communications to increase awareness in the group about what’s happening. Eg: reuse customer stories internally, perform video interviews with employees, drive a calendar for New Heights net, drive content and coordinate translations of The Vertical magazine, share training initiatives, internal P&C newsletter (On the Move) etc.
- Annual Sustainability report communications: help divisions and group to deliver the text for the annual sustainability report.
- Digital Best practices: Analyse the results of activities to find the best way to get the message across
Candidate profile
Preferred experience and profile
- Experience of working with communication for an international company, inhouse or from a bureau perspective.
- Proven experience in copywriting, content creation, or communications, preferably supporting multiple business units or working with executive teams.
- Proven experience in working with corporate social media accounts, particularly LinkedIn, with a focus on content alignment as well as content creation and publishing.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt to different tones and styles.
- An understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing best practices.
- Great interviewing skills
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.

- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and structured approach to work. Experience in project management, including handling multiple projects and navigating uncertainties is a plus, multiple tasks and navigation
- Exemplary proficiency in both English and Swedish, with native-level fluency in both written and spoken forms.

Location at Alimak Group’s head office in central Stockholm. We are a very small head office with nice and friendly atmosphere, approx. 25 colleagues in the physical office. All other 3000 colleagues are spread out in many countries around the globe so “teamwork over Teams” is a natural and daily element
